Respected Sir,
I am Mrs. G Juliet J Rajashree, W/O. K Muthuvalavan (9500918019), residing at 77 Kannigapuram 2nd Street Nagar, Chennai -78. On 23rd July 2023, we visited M/s.Sathya Agencies Pvt Ltd ( GSTN: 33AAICS8948L1ZN )– retail showroom at the T Nagar branch for purchasing a mobile phone for my own purpose. And we have purchased two mobiles in Vivo brand 1) Vivo Y36 ( GST INVOICE NO : 230031CH15003636) and 2) Vivo Y20T ( GST INVOICE NO : 230031CH15003637). After purchasing the phone the salesman named Mr Elangao P and his colleague asked us to protect the mobile phone screen with Protection film, it was latest model instead of Temper glass and we said we don’t need any film and would like to go ahead with normal Temper glass. The protection film cost is very high comparing to Temper glass. The salesmen continued convincing us to buy the protection film for the new mobile phones. They had given commitments like the protection film will protect the mobile display from any kind of damages also they claimed if your screen was broken we will replace without any cost. They forcing and finally they convinced to go ahead with the protection film for the mobile phones, it costs approximately Rs 500 for each phone. To achieve their sales target they had used us and compelled to purchasing the protection film ( GST INVOICE NO : 230031CH15003638).
Now while using the mobile phone(Vivo Y20T) one of my phone was slipped down once from my hand and the display was damaged. We came to the showroom and asked about the damage, the showroom manager said this is not our fault and the salesman only given you false statement and we are not liable for anything. Also he said, he was not working with us right now.
For your information, two months back my another mobile Vivo Y36 ( IMEI : 867158064816877 ) was robbed by someone at central station while I was travelling and given police complaint (CSR NO : 598/2023 – KK NAGAR,CHENNAI ). Still I could not get my phone back. This is already a frustration and now this mobile phone got damaged and it was given more pain and suffering to me.
Due to this salesmen’s wrong commitment and to reach their sales target we are compelled to do paste the protection film and due to that my mobile screen was damaged and no one from Sathya is helping us to repair that. And we were cheated by the salesmen of Sathya retail showroom. Finally we lost our money and the mobile was damaged and not working.
We are normal middle class and we purchased the phones on EMI scheme only and struggled to pay the EMI’s on time. These mobile was purchased for our children’s studies purpose, now without schools WhatsApp updates and other studies app children are struggling now and we are also facing lot of problem without mobiles. Now it is a great loss to us. It was our hard earned money and I am unable to digest the lost and damage of these two phones.
We request you to take necessary action to the Showroom and the salesmen who involved and influenced by false commitments and make loss to us. We request Sathya showroom to replace/repair the mobile phone. Hereafter it shouldn’t happen to anyone like us.
