I visited this store on 23-09-2022 at night with my friends, I bought one “mogu litchi” and “4 Cornetto butterscotch cone” and went to the billing counter there was a long queue after 6-7 min my turn came I put the product there, and the Cashier made the bill INR 320/- instead of INR 250/- I did not notice and went home. Then one of my friends saw that we paid the extra amount there, then I calculated the amount by product and found I had spent the Extra INR 70/- to the store cashier.
Then, I returned to that store and asked about the extra payment and requested a refund of the respective amount.
There is one staff MR. MANISH, he started ignoring my grievances. I again asked about my grievances this time, and he started blaming me. You have to recheck the bill. This is a night store, etc., but I was insisting him please verify. After several requests, he was ready to listen to my grievance, then he did the cross verify and found he took an extra INR 70/- from me.
Then I requested him to refund my amount then he again started blaming me in a very bad manner in front of other customers and my friends and stated, ” IS STORE SE BHUT SARE SAMAN CHORI HO JATE H KYA PATA APNE V KUCHH UTHAYA HOGA MEKO CCTV CHECK KRNE DO APKE FRIENDS K HATH ME MENE KUCHH AUR PRODUCTS DEKHTE THE USKE BAAD ME APKA PROBLEM SUNUNGA” I said ok you could check after checking the CCTV Footage he found I was charged extra INR 70/- and I did not take any extra product and not attempt theft in any manner.
This was a very horrible experience for me. He assaulted me by using the word CHOR (thief) in front of my friends and other customers, and shockingly your Manager was also encouraging him to assault me. It is a defamatory sentence in the Ambit of 399 Indian Penal Code 1860,
I was shocked to see this behavior by your staff (Mr. Manish), even your Manager. I told him we are customers. You have to be polite with your customers also. I stated to him as a customer, we should get the best service from you, but you are assaulting your customer. That is wrong and illegal. He infringed my legal rights and expression in the Ambit of the consumer protection act and other applicable laws.
I am in mental depression due to this accident, which harmed my self-respect in front of my Friends. Also, you are practicing unfair trade practices under the Ambit of consumer protection laws for your services.
