I have seen their ad in Linkedin and went and applied for them. They asked me to share the Aadhar card copy and also they made me to sign an agreement too. In agreement they mentioned the contract is for 1 month. Also they will provide a project with the duration of 7 days. It was to fill 600 resumes in 7 days. Later only I found that it was not possible to complete it. I could do only 155 resumes and I informed them regarding the same on 6th Day. Within 10 minutes I started receiving threatening calls, whatsapp, SMS etc that I need to pay Rs.5900 within 30 minutes. Otherwise they will proceed for legal proceedings and I have to pay Rs.28000 as court handling charges.
I was very much depressed and got panicked. So somehow managed to pay that amount within 30 minutes. After paying that in another 10 minutes they again called me that either I should take the next project from them (if I fail there I have to pay Rs.5900 again) or if I want to terminate the contract I need to pay Rs. 4100 as court charges. Continuously somebody called advocate harassed me over phone. I sensed the fraud among them as when I was talking to another person, the so called advocate was threatening somebody else over the call which I overheard. My money has gone.
Then I talked to my advocate and she mentioned lets wait until they send the legal notice. And she mentioned not to reply them back if they try to contact me.
Friends, they seems to very much fake. My hard earned money is gone. I dont know whether I will get it back. But atleast I realized my mistake earlier and was stubborn that I will not pay them anything more.
Sir/Mam, please take necessary action to these people as people like us who has no job, becoming prey for these type of fradulent people even during this epidemic time.
