Dear Concerned,

It is with great sorrow that I write to you today regarding my request for SIM upgradation from 3G to 4G, which is not being entertained. While your service has never had problems before, recently I have experienced severe and pathetic response from your customer care/Airtel store/Retailers, whenI raised this request. I believe that because I have not received the service I am paying for (namely, Internet) I should be refunded at least a month’s worth of service since you are charging me a 4G data.

The problem began on June 12th, when my Internet went down for several days. I established that the problem was not my computer or the wireless connection, and then contacted you about the service interruption. You claimed you would resolve the same ASAP and advised to upgrade to 4G. You advised several means to upgrade the same and I have tried almost everything to upgrade the same, raising online request/ visiting Airtel retailers/Airtel store etc.

I was handed over a blank SIM from Airtel store and a message containing a new SIM number was dropped to 121 assuring that the service would be activated. You also suggested there to swapping the SIM once the connectivity on previous SIM get ceased. I agreed with all the procedure you followed and went home and waited for the network to cease out. But it never happened.Then contacted Airtel customer care they advised to get a new SIM from the Aitel store as the previous SIM might have some technical issue. I did the same and followed the procedure similar way as suggested by your representative and waited again to cease the network. But unfortunately that never happened.

The problem continued throughout June and till the time. Contacting you customer care did not give any satisfactory answer to the issue and you are wasting your money paying them as they are of no use. My Internet would cease working for several hours at a time in 3G connectivity and this made me mad and I opted porting out of Airtel. But I did not find the same worthy enough since I did not avail the services what I paid for. You claimed that the problem was on my end, but I checked every possibility as you advised.

I have established to my satisfaction that the problem is beyond my control, and that you are not providing the service I am paying for. I work online, so it is essential that I have Internet that is functional which is worst on 3G. If you cannot guarantee service upgrading my SIM to 4G. I will have to move to another provider. I would normally ask that you email me at the address listed below, but since I cannot guarantee that I will be able to access my email with your service, I would prefer that you call.
