Hi All @ consumer complaints court
I had ordered 3 branded shirts @ 1099 as cash on delivery from replytrend.in
Order got delivered 2 days ago, courier person collected the payment and rushed out immediately. by the time I opened the parcle & realised that shirts are pathetic quality and dont even match 0.01% to whats displayed on their portal, courier delivery person was out of our complex.
On contacting the delivery person over call, he stated that if parcle is opened by us he wont be able to take it back & refund our money.
Customer service number provided on the parcle is answered by random individuals, who agree to provide refund & seek mobile number which is linked to your bank account. They request you to be on hold and inform that they will send some SMS which you have to forward to a mobile number (which is tagged as CML Infra on TrueCaller). SMS contains “deviceverify dfahhhdhhds” which I doubt is deviceverification process to either cloan your SIM card or access bank account. When I told the person that I am recording the call and going to report this to cybercrime dept, he immediately started abusing and disconnected the call.
Please let me know how & where can I take this up to ensure that appropriate action is taken against these fraudsters and fraud company.
