I have been using a Voltas AC for the past one and a half years. Recently, the AC stopped working, so I registered a service request with the Voltas Service Center. After inspecting the unit, the technician informed me that there is a fault in the PCB, which needs to be replaced at a cost of ₹8,500. However, since the PCB has a warranty period of 5 years, I raised a complaint with the service center, pointing out that the AC is still under warranty.Despite this, the technician insisted on charging the full amount for the PCB replacement. I then contacted the call center, and they advised me to get in touch with a nearby dealer. They also shared the dealer’s contact details and instructed me to discuss the matter with him, mentioning that they wouldn’t be able to assist further.Upon discussing the issue with the nearby dealer, he agreed to replace the PCB at 50% of the cost (i.e., ₹4,250). I transferred ₹4,250 to the dealer’s bank account on 13.05.25. However, yesterday the dealer informed me that I need to pay the remaining ₹4,250 before the PCB can be replaced.
Although I am willing to pay the full amount, the dealer is now not responding to my calls, and the replacement has not been done.I request your urgent intervention and assistance in resolving this matter, considering that the PCB should be covered under warranty.
