Hello,
I am using airtel fixed line/broadband service from July 5th 2018 in pune with fixed line number 02046910494 and I purchased yearly subscription of Rs 7920. I am moving out from pune to Zirakpur, Haryana. So I raised a transfer request with number 10106641 on Saturday Oct 13, 2018.
Same day I got the message that new address is feasible for Airtel broadband.
But, yesterday I got a call from one the representative that new address is not feasible. So, I asked him for available options. He said either I can transfer the connection to my friend staying at some other place or I can proceed with the disconnection.
I queried about the refund of the excess amount which I have paid, so he asked me that I will receive a call from their team regarding that. Today I got a call again and they said no refund will be processed. I asked them that I am not denying to use the service. Due to your incapability of providing the connection at my location, you can’t provide the service then why should I pay for the service which I am not using. So, he said he will arrange a call back from the billing team.
I checked with one of my friend if they are willing to take airtel broadband connection and after that, I called airtel customer care again to check the feasibility on his address. First they told me that I have raised disconnection request so nothing can be done now. Then they said, check the feasibility on your own.
This is really unprofessional behaviour from such a reputed service provider.
I want to relocate the connection to my new location, or transfer this to my friend’s name on a separate address or need refund.
Kindly help me to resolve this issue.
