I purchased the JIO postpaid connection (9625364440) so that I can get best coverage everywhere. As I started using JIO postpaid sim i have noticed the network is not as good and faced call drop on continuous basis. I reported this issue to customer care and told them to disconnect my connection as i am not happy with the network and I dnt want to pay any extra rent for next month. Now they are giving me the reason that they have a 7 day processing cycle which is crossing my this month bill cycle and i have to pay next month rent also, as the no. will continue till the 4th of next month. There processing is slow why should customer bear the cost. I have raised the request 3-4 days prior to the end of current bill cycle. JIo is showing very boom in its technology and here it is taking 7 days to just close a mobile number. Smart way of making money from post paid customers. Even if others network companies are doing the same then this should be stopped.
I request this issue to be raised and strict action should be taken against these network companies.
Attached is the picture of booklet receaved with JIO sim and no such policy is mentioned in this.
