I had recharged my Jio Prepaid number once for 498 plan on 29th September, 2018 but the money was never credited to my account though the confirmation of recharge was being shown on my laptop screen, I thought it will be done in the next 1 hour but it never got done, I did not receive any transaction id and few days later when I contacted Jio Customer Care they told me that since I have no transaction id and nothing is showing in my recharge history so I did something wrong. I thought okay there could be my fault. I again recharged my number for 399 through my laptop by going to Jio website quick pay option on 5th October, 2018. My money again got deducted from my account but the payment failure page came up. I immediately noted the transaction id and called customer care where their agent Priyanka told me that recharge request has not been raised and if money has been deducted I will have to wait and contact my bank as Jio cannot do anything. I was telling her my transaction id but she did not even take it from me, told me to wait for 3 to 10 days. Now what if my money is never returned to my account? I keep calling my bank a hundred times for this and there is no concern Jio has? Since I need to use my number so I keep on recharging and upon Jios server wish my number could get recharged or go into trash and then again I try with another amount? Whyyyy? Can anyone please help me with this? I am unemployed since 4 months and Jio’s ruthless recharge scheme of deducting amounts and not recharging has left me in tears.
