Text of Complaint by Ankur Jain:

Boat has rejected the warranty replacement of my Boat Wave Force watch. The watch is still under warranty and I have purchased it just 3 months ago.
Following are the points in order:
1. Purchased the Boat watch on 28th Apr 2023
2. Boat watch was not starting in the second week of July 2023
3. Tried check the troubleshooting guide as shared by Boat customer service but it did not help.
4. Boat asked me ti raise a ticket for warranty replacement
5. I created a ticket on 22nd July 2023 vide ticket no. 35694370
6. I got a confirmation on the same day that the Boat watch will be picked up for warranty repair/replacement in 2 days
7. On the day of pick-up, I got a mail stating that there is another ticket raised on the same invoice so Boat cancelled my ticket (35694370) marking it duplicate. Just to mention, I did not create any duplicate ticket.
8. The next day, I got the mail stating that there is a suspicious activity found on this invoice number (OD327954247264267100) and they cannot honour the warranty on my invoice
9. Since last 2 days, I am trying to get the reason of rejection in warranty but they are not able to provide me the reason of rejection.

Their process of warranty is faulted. They DO NOT check the product serial number matching with the invoice. They just get one invoice, see if the product description is same as mentioned on the invoice, and honour the warranty.
It seems my product invoice has been shared with a conman who got a replacement watch using my invoice. I do not know who shared the invoice – Flipkart, delivery personnel or someone from Boat. Since I was travelling to Europe, I am certainly not the one sharing the invoice to anyone.
I do not just want the replacement, but also a compensation as their processes are faulty, the reason of rejection has made me file a consumer complaint that I never did ever in my life. I am being harassed on call by giving lame reasons and putting the blame on me for suspicious activities.
