I am a student and I’m travelling to Canada for my higher studies so i booked a flight from yatra.com and the flight was from Chennai to Delhi, Delhi to New York and New York to Canada. Soon after booking we realized that we have change airports in New York and I don’t have a transit visa so we cancelled the flight within 10 hours of booking and booked a new one. Now they are not refunding the money and we paid Rs 1,24,000 for the ticket and they are asking my consent to cancel the ticket without the refund. Coming from a middle class family my parents have sacrificed their life savings to book this ticket and now yatra is trying to loot the money away just like that, I hereby attach the ticket details for further reference. I request you to dig into this issue and help us out. Yatra has the worst customer support service and they don’t have any offices in Chennai so people can’t go to the office and file a direct complaint. They can only be contacted through phone or Email and we even spoke to them on call as well as sent them numerous emails pointing out this issue.
