Dear Rupee112 Team / Nodal Officer,
I am writing to you regarding the outstanding dues on the loan account mentioned above.
As previously communicated, I acknowledged my liability and requested time until today, February 15th, to clear the dues. However, due to unforeseen and severe financial constraints, I am unable to make the payment today. I am fully committed to settling this loan and formally request a final extension until February by which time I will arrange the funds to close the account.
While I intend to pay, I must register a serious complaint regarding the conduct of your collection team. Despite my communication, I have been subjected to continuous harassment, including:
Threats of field visits and office visits, which is a violation of privacy.
Calls to my references and family members, damaging my reputation.
Aggressive threats of legal action and intimidation.
This behavior is in direct violation of the RBI’s Fair Practices Code for NBFCs and Digital Lending Guidelines. The relentless pressure and humiliation are causing me severe mental trauma, extreme stress, and are driving me toward suicidal thoughts.
Please treat this email as a formal notice.
If the harassment, threats, or contacting of third parties (references/office) continues, I will be forced to take the following legal actions:
File a formal police complaint against the recovery agents and the company for criminal intimidation and abetment to suicide.
Escalate the matter to the RBI Ombudsman for violation of lending guidelines.
Initiate legal proceedings for the mental agony and defamation caused.
I request you to grant the extension until February and immediately instruct your collection team to cease all harassment. I am willing to pay, but I cannot do so under these life-threatening circumstances.
Note:I have added the threatnings as references.
