Text of Complaint by Pankaj Kumar:

I went to the Jio office (Ghatshila, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand-832303) because my phone was stolen and needed the duplicate sim for the same number. When I was doing the KYC, they informed me that my date of birth did not match with their database (voter ID and Aadhaar dob mismatch), therefore I could not complete the process correctly. They asked me to shared the details and these details will send to office for correction. Then they stated they would tell me as soon as the issue was fixed. After providing all the necessary information, they asked me to come back in a week (I gave the information on August 13 and visited the office on August 19, 2024). After a week, they stated that it was rejected and again they need to send the mail. When I asked the reason they said don’t know. How come without any reason it got rejected?

It means the people who sitting their don’t have knowledge about the simple process.

Again in front of me, he sent the details in jio office and asked me to come after 4 days.
So I went there after 4 days (23rd Aug 2024). He repeated himself (being denied ),I asked for the solution once again, and he said, he will send the mail from office id now but currently office mail is not opening so once it’s open will send the mail.
How come their office mail is not working and why he sent mail earlier from his personal mail id? Why these guys not taking seriously or understanding the urgency of other people?

After that I called him multiple times and went to jio office 2/3 times and stilI haven’t heard from them with any updates. Also I sent directly to care@jio.com & jiomeet.support@jio.com and after the automated mail response I have not received any response after 5 days.

Since it’s a postpaid number, it affects my credit score as it’s due date is crossed the payment and also impacting me for other cases as it’s my primary number.

Whatever the way is available I have shared the details but no one taking any action and providing the resolution. And hence I need your help for highlighting the issue and getting the duplicate sim ASAP.

My Jio number is – 9962053094 ( lost number for which I have requested to provide the duplicate sim)
My current contact number – 8825445119
