On February 5, 2023, I purchased a packet of Good life Roasted and salted California Pista (500 gm) from Reliance Retail Chittorgarh, Rajasthan with a “guaranteed freshness” date stating they were good till May 17, 2023. However, while opening one of the pistachios, I was “welcomed” by a Caterpillar.
I took the product and visited their local store. The solution that their “Polite” representative provided was, ” We will reduce Rs 50 since you already consumed some pistachios”. He was very eager to point out that it would have been our mistake if we got an insect in our product.
I have included a picture of the product and my receipt.
