Subject: Regarding online fake part-time job money scam
Respected Sir/Madam,
I am Thogalagai Prabhakar, and I live in Flat No.21-34-420, Sai Nagar Colony, Maddikera Village. I am writing this letter to bring to your kind notice that there has been a fake part-time job post that came from the Facebook app I applied for it and that was interlinked to the What’s App fake number 7250572931 and telegram account @Alyssa882.they have given me a user account where we can add and withdraw our money after completing the task given by them, so have completed the three tasks an earned 900 rupees for 1200 investment and withdraw that money from the wallet after that they have given 6 tasks where I have reached almost 85,400 and earned 1,86,500 so to withdraw that money from the account they asked the 20% tax I paid and then they said account is in active need to recharge 1,00,000 rupees to withdraw 286500. I have done the payment now they had blocked my account and asking for one more 50000 to withdraw all the money from my wallet. I have lost 2,22,400/- by this incident. I request you to kindly look into this matter and investigate the case.
1. I raised a complaint on 30-04-2023 on the national cybercrime reporting portal with a reference number: -20204230011897 they took all the documentation related to this case in WhatsApp and they have started an investigation.
2. I have raised the complaint in the related bank of HDFC, SBI, and AXIS bank where I have the case id as follows.
HDFC bank: -MUMP0523032138, MUMP0523056705
SBI bank: -229377935 and 229377357
Axis bank: -230503123109
