I got a call from FedEx saying that I am parcelling some illegal items from Mumbai to Taiwan.I said I am staying in Banglore Karnataka and a carrying person.I have not travelled outside Banglore someone using my identity.Later he transferred the call to Mumbai police station after enquiry as I can’t travel they told they will give WhatsApp audio call from crime branch and I have to tell about the issue to register the complaint.I did the same.

Same with me, recently someone called and claimed to be from Fedex Express, and they asked to send a photocopy of ID card and driver’s license, this seems like a new mode of fraud, be careful when sending data to other people
Also same with me, recently someone called me and claimed that they are from Fedex Express Andheri East Mumbai branch. Also, person has provided me his Fedex ID – FX117204 and his name: Piyush Kumar Sharma (I know this will be not correct). He gave me all the details of courier and shipping address in Taiwan. After discussion with him he transferred call to Andheri Police station for online complaint because I told him that I can’t come to Mumbai for the complaint as I am not leaving in Mumbai. When he transferred the call, I got doubt that something is wrong because any courier agency can’t transfer call to police station. Although I kept continued to discuss with person who taking my complaint. I told everything what I informed from so called Fedex executive. Then a person who taking my complaint asked me to download the Skype App for logging online complaint. After spending half an hour on call, I felt now I have to drop the call. So, I told the person that I will log this complaint in my jurisdiction cyber cell office then he threatens me that you should log the complaint online otherwise have to come Andheri Mumbai police station physically. But I told him that let me first discuss with my jurisdiction cyber cell office and I have dropped the call. I request you Please stay alert when anyone receive such call. This is new fraud strategy; I was also told that there was a drug in shipped courier by your name. So first they threaten you and then take all the details from you. Stay alert, stay safe and secure your earned hard work money.
I got the call from 08210889569, Rahul Sharma, FX 101379, Account used to transfer money ICICI BANK, 105405500669, And he was trying to link with Mohammed Nawab Islam Malik case.
5 mins back same kind of call with me and claimed that they are from Fedex Express Andheri East Mumbai branch. Also, person has provided me his Fedex ID – RV105346 and his name: Rishi Varma. He gave me all the details of courier and shipping address in Taiwan (To: Zhang Lin, Mob#: +886 2737889). After discussion with him he transferred call to Andheri Police station for online complaint because I told him that I can’t come to Mumbai for the complaint as I am not living in Mumbai. When he transferred the call, I got doubt that something is wrong because any courier agency can’t transfer call to police station and got connected immediately . Although I kept continued to discuss with person who taking my complaint. I told everything what I informed from so called Fedex executive and i googled it with taiwan no. and i found the fraud complaints with comments and i disconnected the call immediately.

I got a call from Arun Kumar from FedEx saying that I am parcelling some illegal items from Mumbai to Taiwan.I said I am staying in Goa.I have not travelled to Mumbai many years now. He told someone using my identity. Later he transferred the call to Mumbai police station after enquiry as I can’t travel they told they will give Skype call from crime branch and I have to tell about the issue to register the complaint online. I told cyber dept I will download skype n call them back. Then I found out it’s a big scam.

I received a call just now, with below details and same experience. I asked them to call me back in 3 hrs as I’m in work meeting after realising it is some kind of fraud. Please be aware and do not fall prey to such tactics by scammers and give your personal information or details out
