I have been having problems with my phone since eSeptember, recently I asked for staff at VF to check emei, as i believe it was locked, it seems that io purchased a mobile from a person on eBay, paid via PayPal, (both with a months protection) only to recently be told it looks like he’s reported the mobile stolen, (if known that in September , I could have got money refund , but its now too late) the seller however sent me the box with everything still new, the only thing used was the mobile. I have been in long talks , weekly on phone and email since the emei was locked, and was made aware that the issue as no network was an apple issue. so as the phone was under warranty it went to apple, who returned it stating its a Vf issue, it was then that I stuttered to look into alternative issues and read online faults, one being that the mobile may be locked as retorted stolen, and it was only when I passed this onto Vf that i got the reply it was. i am able to show the details of the seller, ( although it may not me real name, but PayPal also will have a bank account ?
The matter was then passed onto the technical department and all novermber they said the issue has been fixed, and i needed to change the sim as it would work, it didn’t , i have had three sims in it now.
on the 29th Decemberit was passed to customer care who advised me they will look into resolving the issue, I have even stated that i i have a VF paid sim if that helps (as up to now its a PAYG) i was sent confirmation this will be dealt with within 5 working days, I am aware of weekends < and holidays , but its not been 11 days , ?
i probably have the most expensive iPod going, as an iPhone 11 max pro, but would like to know if its porssible to unlock the emei, so i can use the mobile to its full potential, as ive had to purchase a new mobile from a supermarket to keep me in communication as worjk in children homes.
