I got a call from a guy on 10th of june 2021 that they got my number from my my fresherworld.com profile. He told me that there is work of captcha code by sitting at home for which i will get ₹22000.
As it was from fresherworld.com so i thought it might not be fake and agreed after he convinced me.
On11th june i got registered and from 6pm of that day i started doing it.
On 18th of june i got an sms from a no. Who told himself as Inspector Ajay from Ahemdabad Police station. He mentioned that i have not completed my work with 90% accuracy so i have to pay ₹5400 to them. I ignored that message.He again messaged that “this is final reminder, please clear your dues or i will transfer this case to local police.”
I immediately mailed the screenshots of these messages to the helpline mail id i received from e-cpt company. They replied that “kindly ignore that message as it is not from the company.”
I did it and started working.
Today i got a mail from a guy who said himself as Legal advisor Jayesh Desai.
Following things were mentioned in the mail-
Dear Abhishek Kumar ,
This is last Intimation to you for outstanding dues towards CATLIN PLACEMENT Of Rs.5400/-, if you fail to Clear your dues before we will report to CIBIL
The Court has given you adequate time to complete your file and pay the penalty but you did not complete the same and even not respond to the notice in the court, so the court is going to take strict legal action against you.
You have to face` strict legal consequences. Orders to be held and court decides you to appear in court. If you do not appear in court, Court will take legal action against you associated at your home Address – Town/Vill-SITAMARHI, Anchal/Thana-Dumra. Distt. -Sitamarhi-843302 .Herewith court has decide to take final action or payment of penalty amount that is Rs. 85,950/- in 3 days by you and present in arbitrary court otherwise Courts behold the right to take strict action against you as per Indian Penal Code therefore take this matter as prime concern.

I immediately called the helpline number and messaged email id provided by e-cpt. They said me to cooperate with them.
Then that guy Jayesh Desai called me and threatened me to pay money or i have to pay ₹89,950 to the court.
I got scared and paid him the amount and then he again asked me to pay ₹5400 for the court and then he gave the call to another guy who asked me to pay ₹4100.
I have the screenshots of every payment i made and half of the call recording of our conversation.
Please kindly help me.
