I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and frustration regarding a recent interaction with your team concerning a defective product I received from Flipkart. On February 23, 2024, I received a call from your customer care team regarding the issue I faced with a defective product delivered to me by Flipkart.
During my conversation with your representative, I requested a replacement for the defective phone I received. However, I was informed that the product has no return policy, and no solution was offered to resolve the issue. Instead, I was simply directed to contact Samsung customer care for assistance. Upon contacting Samsung, I was informed that since the product was purchased through Flipkart, they could not provide assistance with the defective. It is important to note that the product was delivered just two days prior, on February 20. It is unreasonable to expect customers to identify technical issues within minutes of delivery, especially when the product appears intact externally. Had I been aware of the defective, I would not have accepted the delivery in the first place.
The lack of responsibility taken by Flipkart in this matter is deeply concerning. Despite being a trusted platform, this incident has significantly altered my perception of Flipkart’s customer service. I have always placed my trust in Flipkart and have made purchases without scrutinizing policies, assuming reliability. However, this experience has shattered that trust. The specific defect I have encountered with the product include a malfunctioning SIM slot and damaged speaker, Within Seven days the phone is completely dead, resulting in poor call quality.
I urge you to take immediate action to rectify this situation and provide a satisfactory resolution. It is unfair to shift the blame onto me for not reading the policy before purchasing the product, especially when the issue at hand is the delivery of a defective product.
I look forward to a prompt response and a resolution to this matter.
