My airtel number is 9650603993 in the name of Charu Sehgal and i have two more airtel numbers i.e. 9212465141 and 9210087787 which my father and mother are using and both are registered in their names only.
In the month of July, 2018 the number which my father is using i.e. 9210087787 had a bill of Rs. 4009 of which the payment was made twice, the total amount due i.e. Rs. 4009 was paid through my bank account and an amount of Rs. 4200 was paid by me in cash. So there was an excess amount of Rs. 4200 was reflecting under that number.
In the same month i added that number under my number in the family plan i.e. 9650603993 and after adding that as a family number the excess amount which was reflecting under number 9210087787 was not reflecting anymore neither under the same number nor under the primary number. Therefore i spoke to the customer care executive several times for this and every time i was given the different response like firstly i was told that automatically your amount will be refunded back to my bank account through which the payment was made and later i was asked to send a mail to the airtel for refund of the same.
At last the airtel executive asked me to visit the airtel store for submitting the request for transfer of the excess amount from child number to primary number. I visited the airtel store which is located at Plot No 4, A Type, Ground Floor, NIT, Faridabad – 121001, Near Nehru Ground, Opposite Mcf Auditorium, Shops Between Dominos and Woodland and narrated them the entire issue which i have been facing from last 4-5 months and they told me that we will submit your request for the transfer of Rs. 4200 which was paid in cash in excess of the amount due to my primary number and thereafter amount which will be shown due under that number for the period before the number was added under family plan will have to be paid by me later on in the airtel store only as that account number was different and is no longer active. So they asked me to come along with my father as the child number was in his name and asked me to submit the Address Proof of my and my father.
On 20.11.2018 i again visited the airtel store with my father and submitted the documents and requested them to submit my request for the transfer and they assured me that within 72 hours you will get the amount transferred in your primary number and after submitting the request you will get the notification as well but till date neither i got any notification with regards to the same nor the amount has been transferred.
This is highly disappointed seeing this kind service from the airtel. I can not visit again and again to the airtel store nor i can speak to customer care for 9th or 10th time. I need the answer to my query that why the request has not been submitted till now and i want my excess amount back at the earliest else with no option left i’ll have to go for the legal recourse.
