I had taken a 6 month subscription to a Boradband service on being promised 100 mbps speed in July 2020. After few days of taking service the promised speed was not delivered and I had cancelled my subscription. Which was confirmed by Airtel via a mail on Aug 6.
Post which I had been following up for the refund for 5 months now. Every-time I reach out to them they raise a new complaint number and tell the payment would be processed in 24-48 hours.
In November I was told the payment was made on October 22 but I had not received it. When asked about the same I was asked to send my Bank Statement which I had sent to them and was told the same would be looked into it. Again in December I was told the payment was made on denying it I was asked for my bank statement. On sending it I was told the amount has been paid and its with my bank which is not getting reflected in my bank account.
I had even given them a chance to transfer the amount to my other accounts – I have 2 other Airtel accounts which they denied.
I am just asking them if I dont pay my Airtel Bill 5 months will they be silent. The amount to be refunded is INR 5200
