Text of Complaint by Suresh Srinivasan:

This is about the unfair and cheating methods adopted by Dhani app forcing the customer to pay for subscriptions to Supersaver card and Onefreedom card. Terms and conditions are used in such a way to force to pay subscriptions leaving no option to cancel the plans opted. The details of 2 grievances are:
1. I installed Dhani App from my mobile number 9900742001 on 29th September and subsequently on 12th October I subscribed for Supersaver card for 150Rs per month based on ads shown in the app that I will get unlimited cashbacks of 3% whereas I was denied it when it crossed 300rs stating that as per terms it is not payable. It is unfair to limit the cashback without clearly stating them in T & Cs during the subscription. Subsequently on 14th October, I was pressurized through calls from the telesales or customer care from Dhani to subscribe for Dhani OneFreedom card with the promise that I will earn 2% cashback for all spends with no limits, but neither I got 2% cashback which I am eligible as Free card member for first one month or Super saver card subscription or One Freedom card subscription. Later on 12th November, I was told by a Customer card executive that either of one card(Free card or Super Saver card or OneFreedom Card) will be active at one point of time. In net result I was denied cashback after crossing 300rs limit from none of the subscribed cards. On top of this, on 12th November I made the bill payment towards fasttag for 200rs which I was ready to repay on same day, but the app did not show them as due. On 13th November I got notification that there is due of 295rs which I thought is for my due amount and paid it promptly but to my surprise this payment was taken towards second month OneFreedom card subscription which I never intended or consented to while making payment. This system driven process is nothing but a cheating or duping of customer. Infact on both 12th and 13th November, I went for cancel the OneFreedom card subscription but the app showed that there is due amount hence cannot be cancelled but on the other hand it did not allow me to pay due amount stating that there is no dues pending. This is a paradox and unfair method to force the customer to go for OneFreedom card subscription which I never intended.
2. I had sent a referral link on 3rd October through whatsapp link to mobile number 9880159504 based on referral scheme from my Dhani App account. The app was installed by this mobile number on same day using the same link and account activated and performed multiple transactions till date. Till today despite sending multiple emails to customer care, there is no action to credit the referral amount to me and my referral number, and the response is my referral did not install using the link I have sent. On account of the above two, I am put to unwarranted pain, stress and frustration due to unnecessary charging of subscription of Supersaver card and OneFreedom card(for 2 months) and not crediting the cashbacks and referral amount as stated in T & Cs. My request is to facilitate for the resolution through refund of the subscription amount and crediting of cashback and referral amount.
