While opting for airtel postpaid connection, a security deposit of Rs.300 was collected in airtel outlet by me. Now that I have moved from postpaid to prepaid connection, I have asked for refund of security deposit. First request was done on September 01 2018. But till now I have not received the refund. I am in touch with airtel through their messenger chats. I have shared a copy of cancelled cheque as requested by them on September 30 2018. But I feel the whole process is simply dragged. Have also read online that many other customers have faced the same problem. I am surprised to see that airtel does not has a well established procedure to refund the security amount. Request your intervention here to take the necessary actions.
