Complaint against Royal Moonlight Resort I visited Goa in second week of January 2024 with my wife and kids {age 14 & 11}. On 12th Jan 2024 their representative met us at Baga and offered us a lucky draw coupon saying that Hotel Park is running anniversary offer for families like yours and he said you will receive your prize at our hotel after attending the half an hour promotional presentation with our seniors .He took us to hotel park where we met Ms Swara who was very polite and asked us about our job profile ,our tour plans and lot of basic information etc. Later she offered their membership plans in which we can stay in 5 stars hotels like Ramada, Hilton, Radisson etc in India or anywhere in the world, after listening their offers we said we are not interested in your membership plans but at the same time she called her manager Kusum who tried to convince with different offers like free breakfast on every booking, will waive our AMCs if we give them reference(either converted or not) with minimum price .She showed her WhatsApp pictures and messages of happy customers, she promised that she and swara will always be with us for further bookings and will help us in planning our vacations with royal moonlight resort. I said that your head office is in Noida and I live in Delhi so I will take your membership in Noida but she said you will not receive this price and offers there which she was offering to me in Goa. They made sure we don’t use our mobile phones if we wanted to search something regarding their company. We had wasted our 2 hours in their fake offers and promises and at last we fell in their trap and paid Rs.50000/- by swapping my credit card. After payment they got signed the agreement with us and told us that we can book our hotel after 14 days. We had some doubts in agreement like age of children are written below 8 years, free breakfast and waiver of AMC fees was not there, they both assured us that you will get these with welcome mail from our company and you will not have to pay a single penny after this payment. As we were getting late to go somewhere we left the place on their trust. After few days we receive their welcome mail in which nothing was there as they both promised with us, we called them but they didn’t pick our calls and we got to know that they both have blocked our numbers. Then we tried to call their customer care at Noida but they refused to book our hotels as we did not paid AMC fees and behaved very rudely and then one day I reached their Noida office with my wife to file a complaint regarding their unprofessional behaviour where I met with Mr .Uttam Rai who is senior most person there as told by their customer care representative, Mr. Uttam Rai listened our queries and assured us to revert back with positive response from company in a week time but after a wait of week we received email from his side with same attitude and did nothing in our favour as we signed the agreement with them in good faith. Royal moonlight resort runs a fraud membership scheme and fooled us of Rs. 50,000/-. They are looting peoples hard earned money and there is no action on complaint against their staff on mis selling and misbehaving. Kindly take action and help us and other people to get their hard earned money back. Regards.
