I have been a customer of Airtel. On May 25, 2022, I took a fresh Broadband connection under their 499 scheme for 6 months.
I renewed it from November 26 , 2022 till May 25,2023 at its 80 ft Road Koramangala Office paying Rs 3533 by Debit Card on November 16 ,2022
My Airtel id was :08011566392_dsl
However on January 9, 2023 I was shocked to find that Airtel had disconnected my connection for non payment of broadband charges.
When I checked with your staff ,I was informed that my payment of Rs 3533 made in November 26 , 2022 had been credited to an Airtel landline .
I however wish to confirm I have never had an Airtel Landline .
Under duress however ,I had no choice but to take a fresh broadband connection paying an additional Rs 3533 – for a fresh Airtel Broadband connection . My new Airtel id :08013599856_dsl
I however had been assured by the Airtel staff that my payment of Rs 3533 that I had made on November 16, 2022 would be refunded in full to me .
However till date ,despite repeated follow ups by me, with Airtel staff, over the past 1 month , I have not received any refund from Airtel . Each time Airtel keeps fobbing me off with some excuse or the other
As if all that is not terrible enough , Airtel staff have been harassing me for the last 2 months with numerous Phone Calls,SMS , WhatsApp Messages , demanding i pay Rs1159.58 for an Airtel Landline that I never had !
I seek the intervention of the Court to order Airtel to immediately refund me Rs 3533 , & Stop harassing me with demands that I pay them for an Airtel Landline that I never had !
I would request the Court to award Airtel an exemplary deterrent penalty , so that Airtel does not harrass ordinary customers like me ,in future

Airtel Profit has increased by a whopping 91% !
This is hardly surprising, as they have perfected the art of :
– bleeding their customers dry ,by charging exorbitant charges for landlines that customers have never had, in the first place .
And exorting double Broadband payments from customers , and thereafter refusing to refund the double payments made by their hapless customers etc
