I ported out of Airtel Postpaid Mobile subscription. I had paid full month rental payment in advance to avoid porting request rejection. Porting was successful and airtel subscription was terminated. I received bill / invoice from airtel as per details given below:
Bill statement: 05 December, 2021 to 28 December, 2021
Bill emailed on Monday, 3 January, 2022
Due Amount: -182.25
I sent email to 121@airtel.com for refund. They requested for proof of bank account details and I replied with same. I received email saying a ticket was raised for refund and the payment would be credited within 2 / 3 weeks. I reminded after the said period. There was a reply saying the amount was credited to bank account and I was asked to update passbook and check for credit. When I checked there was no credit. I emailed to airtel again saying there is no credit to my bank account.
There was another email asking for bank account details. I replied with the passbook details again. I also asked why is it required again. There was no reply.
When I emailed again for update, there was reply saying they are working on the request.
But now the previous emails in the thread including the ticket number got deleted by airtel.
I was shocked and then wrote to appellate.tn@in.airtel.com, I received a reply that airtel is working resolve this on priority. I asked for a deadline to credit the amount to my account as per TRAI regulation. There is no deadline provided by appellate.tn@in.airtel.com.
I emailed to appellate.tn@in.airtel.com and nodalofficer.tn@in.airtel.com with CEO.India@airtel.com, compliance.officer@bharti.in in copy.
I received a reply that airtel is working resolve this on priority.
After seeing that the previous emails and cc email ids are not available in yahoo email, I started copying my son’s email id to track email transactions.
Airtel should refund the balance amount immediately to my bank account.
