I made a booking on 9th Nov 2020 at Travolook.in which is a travel agency and my reference ID with them was REF185585770. Booking was never confirmed but they charged me RS 9098. They called me at the same time and said Airline cancelled the booking which is a lie because there was no airline PNR. They actually publish fake fare to increase the traffic on their website. I booked the same flight on the same day via MakeMyTrip at Rs 400 more. They said refund will be done in 7-10 business days and every time I call, they have a scripted reply, ”Due to technical problem, refund is delayed and will be done in another 7-10 business days”. If you want to speak to their supervisor, they’ll straight away deny the request stating that they cannot as they are working from home which is another lie. I also work as a trainer in a call center working from home and calls can be transferred to immediate supervisor. Same reply on their email as well. They basically have no regards for customers and it’s probably a scam company.
It’s been more than 1 month and I’ve still not received refund. I would like to file this complaint for my refund and compensation of Rs 10,00000 if this forum really works and helps those who are suffering from these types of scammers.
