I’ve booked a ticket through flipkart travel to travel from Toronto to Hyd by Etihad airlines on 01/01/2021. Due to travel restrictions by India govt. flight got cancelled but without any prior intimation to the passenger. It a surprise and shocking to me as I arrived at the airport as I vacated my room and packed my bags to the airport. I had to book ticket through another airlines then and there itself which costed me double than what I paid earlier and a lot of mental pressure, among all these neither airlines nor the travel agent are bothered to arrange for the refund to me so far even after calling them repeatedly from the past one month both of them are playing blame game. Airlines asks me to talk to the travel agent and the travel agent tells me that airlines cancellation confirmation is not there, though I’ve collected an email from airlines later and forwarded the same to the travel agent. Every time I call the travel agent they say they are escalating the case and with in 24-48 hours the issue will be resolved and there will be no response even after that 48 hours passed by. Need your help in getting the issue resolved as I had to pay the bill to the bank that I used to buy the ticket and I had spend all my money in buying the ticket for my alternate plain.
