Recently, on 25th March 2025, I paid Rs. 2,221=46 for a new Jio AirFiber WI-FI connection at my Newtown residence bearing address: “premises no 1405, Plot no. 37, Action area IIIC, Newtown, Kolkata”. The receipt is attached herewith. The payment was done through “Amazon Pay” on 25th March 2025 @ 04:57 pm, from my ICICI bank account number “xxxx20” & against refence ID “508491145876”.
However Your service person came to my site on 27th March 2025, late afternoon & found that there was no Wi-Fi signal available at my site as the nearest towers located are quite at a distance. As such your work order number “NO00014GLH10” was canceled by you on 28th March 2025 (attached). This you have informed to me through email on 28th March 2025 & through SMS on 2nd April 2025.
However, on 03rd April 2025 through another SMS, you updated that my refund has been initiated and that the refund will be credited to my account within seven business (7 days) days.
But till date I am yet to receive my refund back.
Further, as you have informed your inability to provide services to me, in the meantime, I contacted with “Airtel” & have successfully installed Wi-Fi services through them at the above residential address.
Surprisingly, without asking my opinion, all of a sudden, you raised another work order (attached) dated 04th April vide order number “NO000140645Y” & started sending SMS messages & emails, that your service person wants again to install a Jio AirFiber connection at my above residential address – which earlier you had regretted and also canceled the work order (only after which I was forced to contact with other service providers viz. ‘Airtel’ and had successfully installed their Wi-Fi services at my premises).
Please note that further wifi connections are not required at my residence from your company.
I now request you to confirm me when you are going to refund me the paid amount of Rs. 2,221=46 , which you have already agreed to do through email & SMS.
From the date of cancellation of your work order today is 18th day & till refund is due.
A line of confirmation in this regard will be highly appreciated.
