On [30nov 2025], I recharged a Jio number for [Rs 239] using my wallet / prepaid instrument (MaxPay). However, the recharge went to the wrong number. I immediately contacted the person who received the recharge, and they promised to refund the amount once they woke up. Despite repeated calls and messages, they have neither responded nor returned the money.
I also want to highlight that MaxPay explicitly states that they do not provide refunds for human errors, which leaves the user unprotected in such cases.
I have contacted Jio customer care , but the issue remains unresolved. As a student managing my expenses carefully, this loss has caused me financial inconvenience. I am filing this complaint seeking refund of the full amount along with any applicable compensation for the inconvenience caused.
