I have done recharge via Netbanking-HDFC on 13-Jul at 6.30 am, the amount got debited, and received a message from Airtel stating refund will be processed within 7-10 days, however, the refund is still not credited till to date.

Since the initial transaction on July 13 failed, I attempted a second recharge using Phonepe at 1.30 pm that day, and it was successful. I received the advantages of the plan.

I’ve complained to the Airtel customer service team via social media, in person, and in numerous emails. However, each time, the complaint is simply closed with the statement that the funds are with HDFC. A few agents are even unable to recognize that the recharge was completed twice, instead stating that the recharge was successful and whereas I’m requesting a refund for the unsuccessful transaction.

Airtel service is very pathetic in terms of understating the complaint and solving. Complaint is closed saying the Netbanking is a third-party app, I need to use Airtel Thanks app in order to trace any complaints from them.

As a customer, I can do any mode of payment, and Airtel team systems should support to check the transaction details.

I have raised the complaint with HDFC bank, and they replied stating the amount is credited to Airtel, it was a confirmation received from Airtel to HDFC team.
