I was looking to take a small loan amount, I happened to download one app called Kite money manager. They said that will give me a loan of Rs. 10,000. However, they then said they’ll give me a loan of 4000. I sent a mail stating I do not need the loan anymore. However, they disbursed the loan and I was not even intimated until I received a text with my details, photo and adhaar card, stating pay the money in 30 mins or else. We will contact your family and send your photos, and state inappropriate things. I paid the amount of 4000, and told the person to delete my information/data from their app. He told me that you can delete your account from the app itself, which I did. Now, I am receiving texts and calls, claiming I have an outstanding loan due and to pay if not they will text and call my family members, come to my home and threatening my and my family members safety. I have not taken any loan and I am being harassed constantly over texts and calls.
