My complaint concerns the bad service of a company providing unclear specifications of the product causing the consumer to get confused and receive a wrong item. I ordered a new phone case on an online shopping platform for my iPhone 7 since my old one was already broken. Once I found the phone case that I wanted, of course, the first thing that I did was to check the feedback and reviews of the product also its details. When I went to the specifications of the product, I got a bit confused since it was stated there the version was “iPhone 7/8 Plus”. You’ll get confused because you do not know if the iPhone 7 variation was separated or included in the “plus” specification but still, I ordered the product. Before that, I also asked the company if they had an iPhone 7 variation but they said “yes” so I proceeded. However, to my surprise, I received the wrong variation and got a phone case that was double the size of my phone [see pictures below].
For me, this wasn’t a scam since the company was a verified seller but my only concern is to put specified variations in their product so that when a consumer orders, it will be clear for them and to separate individual variations of the product. Because of this, I requested a refund of my money and fortunately, the online shopping app granted my request and I got my refund.
