This is regarding an order from flipkart. I placed an order and received the “product” on 17th February 2021 the packaging was intact, upon opening the outer packaging. I noticed that the apple pencil box was much softer and felt of a pretty low quality and it grossly looked far from being the real product. In fear I did not proceed with opening up the product and raised a complaint with customer care. Which took me 4+ calls and hours on hold and on call with customer service executives. After which a REFUND request was raised under the reason ” Duplicate product” the customer service executive raised this herself. Folowing which I got a follow-up call in which I was told to go ahead with purchasing this product from a different seller as a refund shall be processed for me. I went ahead and ordered the pencil from the offical Apple Website.
When the return pick up guy arrived at my house. He proceeded to open the box. The box wasn’t designed to be opened like most apple boxes are made. He had to use his key to tear apart the thin cardboard box. He then pulled out 2 pieces of plastic. A red colour ball point pin with a rubber tip at the back with no refill and a piece of tangled wire. Photo attached. He refused to take the pick up and gave it to me and told me to raise a return again under ” Product delivered is completely different” which is what I was told was the complaint raised on the first go.
On enquiring with customer service I was told that they will now try to initiate a replacement request. But I have already purchased the product from a different seller. On explaining that the customer service executive advised to go forward with a buy from a different seller. The call was cut. On multiple occasions the call was cut while in conversation right after informing about a wrong product being delivered
