I ordered 5 grocery items under the order ID: OD225602599215978000 from Flipkart Groceries on 30 Jul 2022. The order was supposed to be delivered on 03 Aug 2022, but not delivered. On raising the issue of non-receipt of delivery with customer service, the order was delivered on 05 Aug 2022 in a sealed bag with 5 items inside.

After bringing it home, opening the seal, and checking the items, it was noticed that one item “JK Poppy Seed (Posta)” 250 gm pack supplied by Shreyash Retail Private Limited under the banner of Flipkart E-Commerce in the sealed pack is degraded and uneatable product.
I raised the issue with Flipkart customer support on 05Aug 2022 and a return & refund ticket was generated. On 07 Aug 2022, the refund request was rejected stating – “We’d like to let you know that your return request could not be fulfilled by the seller as their courier partner has confirmed delivery of the item in your order with order id OD225602599215978000 with the product being intact”.
On 07Aug 2022, I contacted Flipkart customer support again and raised the issue. The customer support asked me to upload pictures of the product, which I did. Another return request was placed on 07 Aug 2022 along with a damaged product photograph.
On 08 Aug 2022, the refund request was again rejected stating exactly the same thing as earlier – “We’d like to let you know that your return request could not be fulfilled by the seller as their courier partner has confirmed delivery of the item in your order with order id OD225602599215978000 with the product being intact”. Again I contacted Flipkart customer support and raised an Incident with ID: IN22080822594705739318 and I was promised a resolution. Also, I placed a return request again on 08 Aug 2022 along with the damaged product photograph.
Again rejected stating the exactly same wording. Again I contacted customer support and again placed refund request. The process was repeated 3 more times. Other incident IDs are: IN22080921164166535541 and IN22081021172767219084.
On 12 Aug 2022, without addressing the incident or communicating with me by phone or email, Flipkart closed by refund request and also mentioned that – “Cancelled on Fri Aug 12 as issue resolved by troubleshooting”.
As per return policy 7 days period is over, so I cannot place any more refund requests. None of my incidents or grievances are addressed, nor received my refund. The damaged item is still available with me in sealed pack with packing and invoices intact.
I am writing for justice against such fraudulent practices taken up by the sellers under the umbrella of Flipkart e-commerce and want to have a refund for the damaged item received.
Please look into the issue and allow me to have the due refund from Flipkart and please stop these fraudulent practices.
