I’ve been overcharged multiple times at the end of rides compared to the initial fare shown at booking. This appears to happen because drivers intentionally take longer routes, and the app updates the fare accordingly at the end—leaving me to pay the higher amount.
Since this has occurred repeatedly, I felt the need to report it. Most recently, I was charged ₹152 for a ride that was originally quoted at ₹114.
Additionally, I have money in my Rapido wallet, but the app has disabled the option to use wallet balance for any ride type. While the fare difference was refunded to my Rapido wallet instead of my original payment method, I’m now unable to use that balance at all due to the wallet payment option being disabled.
