Text of Complaint by Dr. J.K. Chawla (Retd.Prof.PAU):

My mobile was kept under Safe custody during the period 6.1.2022 to 5.4.2022. As per the policy of VI, no billing shall be done for this period except one time charges of Rs.150/-. However, I was billed with Rs.706.82, 588.82 and 469.64 (total 1765/-) respectively for Jan., Feb. and March 2022. Upon repeated representations to the appellate authority (representations to customer care and corporate care elicited no response), an adjustment of Rs.985.43 was allowed in different bills as against a total non chargeable amount of Rs.1765. Thus an amount of 780/- is still recoverable from VI (which has been denied and they are silent on this may be due to the that I have been paying my bills regularly thereafter. Numerous written requests were made to VI on 5.3.22, 2.4.22,16.4.22, 25.4.22, 26.5.22, 29.5.22, 24.6.22 and 4.7.2022 but regret to note, no satisfactory response was received and hence this escalation complaint to your goodself for proper redressal.
