Hello Sir/Madam,
I am Adithya a resident of Bangalore and I want to report a fraud by a company called quick money . Quick money is an application in Play store.
On 25th June i logged into quick money app to check my eligibility for a loan. The application asked me for AADHAAR and also my bank account details. I had submitted both and wanted to check my eligibility.
The eligibility showed as INR 10,000 and that was not good enough for me so i just went back. within sometime i got 2 transactions of INR 2,100 and INR 1,800 credited to my bank account. When i checked the bank statement i got to know that the transactions have happened from KHODIYAR Trading . I just checked the quick money app and found that there were 2 loans processed in my name :
1. Good Wallet loan of INR 3,000 and they had deducted interest of INR 1,200 and credited my account with INR 1,800
2. Link Cash loan of INR 3,500 and they had deducted interest of INR 1,400 and credited my account with INR 2,100.
and both loans had validity for repayment for 1 week. First of all i had not given any consent for the loan to be processed and there is no agreement as well. When i see how to repay it asks me to transfer the amount to a personal UPI. The moment I saw this i thought something was not right.
As soon as this loan was credited i started getting a lot of whatsapp messages stating that i have taken a loan from Magic loan , Ru Loan etc etc and they started threatening me saying if i dont download the link given and make the payment then they will start contacting my contacts and ask them for money and harass them and also dent my reputation.
Please save me and a lot of others who can get into trouble with these fake applications who use loan apps as a tool to blackmail the public.
one of my friends asked me to report such messages on whatsapp and that they will look into it and block the users but I have been getting these recovery messages and threatening from different numbers.
I have repoted most of the numbers on whatsapp and hence can no longer view them but a fee whatsappp numbers which i have just blocked and not reported as I wanted to report the fraud.

Please kindly help me and many like me. There are a lot of complaints about this application in consumer complaints court website as well for your reference.
