I have purchased a whirlpool 34o liters refrigerator from paytm on 28/10/2018, the product is delivered on 04/11/2018, after so many calls to paytm and whirlpool on 08th November 2018 the technician has come for installation, while unpacking the technician has unpacked improperly (cut card board packing and broken the sides thermocol of package) and he told us to start using after 4hrs, after 4hrs when we started using it was not getting cooled, then again called to whirlpool customer care and they have sent the technician on 9th and he confirmed to us that the compressor is not working it is gone and he suggested us to put a return request to paytm, then I lodged the return request on 9th. on 14th from paytm has come for return pickup and the courier people has rejected our return pickup stating that the item is not packed and even paytm also rejected my return request stating the same.
First of all Paytm has sent an damaged product to me where as compressor is the heart of an refrigerator.
The product has been unpacked by the whirlpool technician improperly not by us. How we are responsible for that.
Refrigerator is not a small product like shoes or clothes where customer can pack and send to paytm, that is the responsibility of Paytm.
In the overall what is our mistake is that shopping with paytm or purchasing whirlpool product, my money is lying with paytm from 28th november 2018 and I got a damaged product.
Paytm is not taking back the product stating nonsense reasons and Whirlpool which is telling 1year guarantee and 10 years warranty on refrigerator is not replacing the product.
when I call to Whirlpool company they are telling technician will visit our place and he will complete the required formalities like photos of fridge and scan copies of documents and will replace the product within 15 to 20 days but the technician is telling they will not replace they will do only repair. how come I will accept for repair when I have not even used for one time.
Seriously I am not getting why Paytm and whirlpool are behaving like this with customers.
my family from last 25 years we are using whirlpool products.
Last but not least Please resolve my issue as soon as possible.
