We have applied for PSB Loan.. Given hell lot of details and documents, return copies, bank statements, personal & company data etc.. finally we got a approval letter of 65 lacs in Bank of India (Dubson Road Howrah) Branch…
When we approcahed Bank, they fixed up meeting with Bank Branch Manager and a SME Manager.. Their only purpose was to get security (property) and then only they will take application ahead.. they said all file, data and documents are up to date and meet their requirements.. but without collateral security they will not take anything ahead.. they even called us thrice to bank and called the PSB Loan (without security) as launched by PM Modi a stupid idea and just a formal announcement for political gains.. whereas it is mentioned in PSB loan that it will be offered without any collateral security and is launched for ease of doing business to support MSME like us..
The Bank people were not even interested in giving 1 lac loan without collateral. They call “PSB Loans in 59 Minutes” a scam or stupidity. Which mean we have paid Rs 1180 for nothing and it is a waste..
PSB Loans in 59 Minutes is just seeking Rs 1180 from all applicant and made crores without any disbursement..

After 2 months of paper work and running from branch to regional offices of United bank of India..
I was informed by the bank that my trade does not fall under retail trade under CGTSME…and they asked me to give security
