I made a payment through sbi credit card on an international payment on 6th July 2022 which has been declined but I received the message of card usage. I confirmed the transaction failure next day on 7th July and a few days after that about that payment and it has been informed to me that all the payments done on 6th July failed and the amount will be adjusted in the billing statement. However, I see that the amount was added in the billing statement with some taxes and EMI which I have not applied for. After informing this in customer service, the person called told me that she will initiate a request for looking into the matter. She has not informed me that in doing so, she is blocking my card. Without giving me any prior information and taking any consent from me, she blocked my card. I am supposed to make payment from this card after 2-3 days. This has put me in a very precarious situation. I want that action should be taken against the sbi-credit card service for providing falsified information and taking action without customer permission.
