Text of Complaint by Ashish Manasara:

I had ordered fresh-up 5 seater sofa from Flipkart. It was delivered on 21 December, 2022. Due to its folds being uncomfortable while using as a lounge, I had placed return request. The sofa was picked up by Flipkart delivery partner named Krishna (98916 01980) on 25th December, 2022. As the order status was not changed by evening, I raised help request on their platform the same day that the status is not shown as ‘picked’, Flipkart customer care assured that it will be done in 2 days if the item is already picked up. I waited for 1 week but no status changed. Meanwhile I received 2 calls from different persons next week from Flipkart that a technician visit is scheduled to check the return item. I explained both of them that it is already picked up, on it they said that it sometimes happens that item gets picked up by delivery so they cancelled the technician visit themselves. After 10 days the status was changed to ‘refund rejected’ without any explanation. I raised complaint on customer care through Flipkart app that how can refund be rejected if the sofa is already picked up. They acknowledged the mistake and created a ticket with id IN22122518404033382613. I got no resolution on that ticket and again the status was changed to refund rejected after 6 days. I again raised complaint from app and Flipkart created another ticket IN23010310124396017326. Every time I followed up, they gave me a standard response that they’re checking the issue from courier team or delivery team and made me wait for 2-3 days every time. It has been 1 month now and yesterday they asked me for pickup receipt. As we all know Flipkart doesn’t provide any receipt on product return pickup. When I tried to confront them that Flipkart is trying to avoid resolving this issue by asking me pickup receipt, the customer executive cut the call and again the status of the issue is marked as ‘refund rejected’. One thing here to note is that Flipkart has changed the status of another item ‘grey carpet’ that I had raised return request as ‘refund processed’. This rug is still with me and Flipkart is trying to give me refund of Rs 600 to hide their goofup of my sofa that cost me Rs 14000. I have call recordings of the same to verify the issue. Please help me resolve this issue as it is a high value item and I am facing a lot of technical and mental trouble from Flipkart.
