Text of Complaint by Arbaaz Sayyed:

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to file a complaint against Royals Moonlight regarding the misleading information provided during the purchase of a holiday package.

I was informed that the total cost of the holiday package was INR 45,000, and no additional charges would be applicable. Based on this assurance, I paid INR 5,000 to book the plan.

However, two days later, I received an email containing the company’s terms and conditions. To my surprise, it stated that I would need to pay Annual Maintenance Charges of INR 10,500 + GST before availing of the package services.

This crucial information was never disclosed to me at the time of purchase. I believe this constitutes misrepresentation and lack of transparency. I have attempted to seek clarity on this matter but have not received proper updates from them.

Due to the company’s unethical practices and failure to disclose complete information, I request your kind intervention to help me get a refund of the INR 5,000 I paid.

I trust that the Consumer Court will take the necessary action to address this grievance and ensure justice.
