I’ve recharged my Airtel prepaid account (number – 9790813817) with Rs. 399 unlimited plan twice – once thru Google pay UPI and Phone pay UPI on 29th April 2020 approximately @01:30 AM. For both these transactions the amount got debited from my bank account but the recharge is not done.
For the first time, I had done recharge using Airtel android app and paid the concerned amount via Google pay UPI. Bank transaction was successful however I got the error message on the Airtel app stating –‘Transaction failed and the any amount debited will be refund back in 8 working hours.’
For the second time (since first time it did not work and I was in hurry to recharge), I did the recharge via PhonePay UPI app and it was a success. I received a text message stating ‘recharge done on 29-04-2020 at 01:25AM’. PFA file for the same. However my account is still not recharged not it is updated on the Airtel app.
I tried connecting to customer care via 121 multiple times, but it is clearly waste of time as no support executive is present even after waiting for 30 mins.
Please can you investigate the issue and let me know the updates ASAP. Also kindly let me know the process of refund of the amount and by when I can expect it to be credited to source.
