Hi,
I ordered a power backup for airtel broadband from airtel Thanks app. I got an immediate message from Airtel that a engineer will arrive the next day to setup the power backup. Today is 25’th day since i ordered the power backup and he hasn’t arrived yet.
I asked Airtel to issue a refund but they aren’t replaying. Please issue the refund.

Hi,
This is Soumya. I also have faced similar issues. They give option to apply for power backup on the app and I have already made payment. Now the customer care is saying that the power backup facility is not available in bangalore. They are not providing any confirmation email or message to track the order or cancellation.

This is Sumesh. I am facing with the same issue. I have ordered it 12 days ago and still haven’t received it. They ask to pay in advance but don’t reply or provide any resolution from customer care too. Just give a fake reassurance that someone from technical team will call you in 4 hours and the same script is repeated every day a call is made to customer care. This is really unacceptable where zero resolution is provided for an issue.

The same has happened with me. Had placed an order through their App, however they were not able to deliver it for 5 days, I went ahead and purchased another one from local.
I raised a refund ticket with them, to which the support team had assured me that the refund will be processed within 7 days.
No that it’s been more then 20 days and no refund, I contacted the support team and the person on the line told me that they do no give refunds for the UPS orders and consumers have to receive the product even if there was delays from their side.
Now, to which I asked why this was not conveyed to me during my 2 prior calls. The person went on to tell me to read FAQs, which clearly are not present on the order screen and she didn’t know where the FAQ section is on the App.
I think with Airtel might be holding back lot more refunds the same way :shrug:
