I have got Airtel one plan (airtel black now) an year back. I have got 2 postpaid connections and 1 DTH. I have given address and identity proofs which were validated as well as verified by airtel. Now they have linked my 2 PP numbers (1 primary and another secondary) and DTH account in it. After 1 year when I am disengaging from airtel black/one plan and trying to close my secondary number, the customer care, airtel store and every other representatives of airtel have been saying that my address is not matching and hence it can’t be done. I have to resubmit/update my address which will take few days and then the secondary number will be removed (after address verification).
Now how in the world am I using my 2 postpaid sims when Airtel has not done proper verification and validation 1 year back. It is due to their negligence and fault I am suffering a lot. In addition, I cant change my postpaid plan on my primary number as well as cant shutdown my secondary number and hence I am bound to pay surged amount for this whole duration. This is clearly the fraud airtel is committing to woo the new (or upgrade old) customers without proper validation and verification. No one is listening to the numerous complaints and visits I have made to store.
It has caused me so much mental trauma (which is growing many folds each day) and the harassment airtel’s representatives have done I can’t explain and bear anymore. I will keep raising my voice until I get justice and an absolute unconditional apology.
