the product I purchased from flipkart got cancelled from seller’s end without any intimation.When I checked the app I got to know about it. I wasn’t asked told that seller could not deliver the product. Neither I was told about the replacement nor the refund. As per policies, it should be the concern of the flipkart team to address the fact that the order got cancelled due to certain reason and how the customer wishes to receive the refund or if he/she wants to get the product replaced.
Since the order was a combination of mode of payment- Online transaction and voucher of Rs 5000 and the amount that was paid was more than 12k. So, my online payment was more than the value of the voucher. I was told I will be given the voucher(as refund later), I asked them I want it in my bank account which they said is against policies. My major concern is the product being cancelled is because of the vendor, it was not done by me. Can I not even opt for the mode of refund. Either they refund it to my bank account or replace it. Even after such a terrible experience I would obviously not wish to make a further purchase, why should I accept the voucher. Also it has not been credited to my wallet. I have just asked them to cancel it and process the refund in my bank account. Called them multiple times, no resolution. Addressed it via my Twitter Handle, still no resolution.
They have no ethics on how to deal with such issues as they started pretending like they couldn’t hear me even when I was standing in an open space and talking.
Also, this was about the product 1 that I received. Another one that got delivered has incomplete information on the portal in the mentioned ‘Important Note’ column. Such vague information is being provided to customers. I am appalled that even they couldn’t copy-paste the proper information about the product.
I ordered RPM800-treadmilll. In the portal it is clearly mentioned that the max weight supported is 100kg. You can see the screenshot that have attached that I saw on the portal and the one that the seller showed(which I couldn’t since I can upload only one file) in that it is mentioned the product supports 20% less weight that mentioned.
It is clearly the case of RIGHT INFORMATION RELATED TO THE PRODUCT NOT BEING CONVEYED.
This is a humble request if you could look into the matter and provide the right guidance of getting this sorted.
