I am facing issue with Airtel 4G network coverage and internet speed issue due to poor coverage. While Airtel boasting of best in class indoor Coverage but in sad reality it is not working as expected.
My mobile is keep switching back to 2G/3G services from 4G network and everytime i have to manually change the network back to 4G. Due to this i am unable to complete my work deliverable as I am currently working from home for a software company.
I had raised this issue with Airtel_presence twitter handle and their executives inturn acknowledge that my area network is poor and my mobile is switching back to 2g/3g very frequently from 4g service.
To rule out issue with my handset i had tested and worked in multiple places within my town with PIN 516269 and i did not face the 4G coverage issues and also internet speed was good. At my home 4g speed is under 1MBPS and when i tested with my mobile in town center and other places i could see 4G speeds ranging from 8 to 12 MBPS.
When Airtel knows there is an issue with network and even after multiple follow ups from past couple of months there is no solution provided yet from them.
This is sheer ignorance and poor quality of service. I am planning to escalate this to nodal officer and to trai appellant if no solution given within next week.
