I bought my Poco X3 from Flipkart on 6th February 2021. Recently my phone has issues with its speaker and also with its front camera, which I noticed on the 11th of February 2022, I.e. after my warranty period has ended on 6th February 2022. I showed it to a Mi Authorised Service Centre at Kannur, Kerala and the response was it’s a software issue and can be fixed by downgrading. In case it’s not resolved, they said we can look into hardware side of things. Since I didn’t have my phone backed up, I opted out.
Then after a few days I reached out to another Mi Authorised Service Centre in Malappuram, Kerala with the same issue. Without even inspecting my phone, their response was it’s main board issue and that it needs to be replaced, which will cost 10,000 Rs. I bought the phone for 16,000 and now they are saying I have to pay 10,000 to repair the phone when they haven’t checked it.
