Text of Complaint by Sivakumar LS:

POCO (Sub brand of Xiaomi) is illegally bricking the phones through their service patches. I bought my mobile on April 2021. It was working fine, there were no physical damages (not even a scratch), I wasn’t charging nor dropped my mobile, I was just holding my mobile in hand (no heavy applications running) and it went blank. When i tried to switch on, it was not turning on, then i searched in internet, everyone had the same problem. How can the motherboard go bad when i am not charging and when there was no physical impact. If had gone bad after falling down or during charging, I understand something might have gone bad in the motherboard. When the phone is dying just in your hands it is not hardware problem, it is purely driven by the software. I myself a board design engineer, I don’t agree with the service center saying motherboard gone bad. They are making fool of the people and looting money from the users. These companies should be banned or heavily penalized. Indian government regulations should be tightened so that these types of fraudulent activities can be avoided.
